For so long, Diddy was said to be an untouchable figure in Hip-Hop. Hailed as the second richest rapper in the world, with an estimated billion net worth,
Sean "Diddy" Combs is dealt with a direct hit after his two houses were raided by the feds.
Combs' business empire seemed to crumble as authorities took hold of him because of a sex and drug trafficking probe.
Now, a source gathered that it might be his opponents and enemies behind his downfall.
Diddy's Opps Want To 'Take Him Down'
Former NYPD detective Derrick Parker, most commonly known as Hip-Hop cop, shared to The New York Post his sentiments about Sean "Diddy" Combs' recent legal trouble.
"He has a very questionable past that he's been able to control because of his power for a very long time," he told The New York Post. "But it looks to me like someone is behind this - someone who really wants to destroy his brand and take him down."
Parker furthered that he believes that law enforcement has been given some "sensitive information."
"Someone's cooperating, and it's probably someone close to him," Parker theorized. Way before he retired from the New York Police Department, Parker was assigned to two of Diddy's cases in the 1990s and maintained that he knew the rapper well enough.
For Parker, Combs' house raids and the arrest of his alleged drug mule looked "like the tip of the iceberg."

Parker also added that Cassie Ventura, Diddy's ex-girlfriend, being paid off with an undisclosed sum after she sued the rap mogul for rape and physical abuse had a ripple effect on those he had wronged in the past.
"Once Cassie was paid off I knew there'd be a ripple effect," Parker went on to say. "Like people thinking, 'Hey she got paid, I'm gonna get paid.' But he's got a past a lot of people know about and I think it emboldened a lot of them when they saw what happened with Cassie."
Diddy's Unexposed Dirt Could Be Big Like Jeffrey Epstein
In the same report in The New York Post, rap industry sources said that they were "shocked by the scope" of the raids.
"This is a major major play - the feds don't do this unless they gots something on the man," one insider said.
Meanwhile, a law enforcement source suggested that the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York "could be" building a case against Combs of a similar magnitude and process like they did to expose Jeffrey Epstein's island.
