50 Cent is allegedly not taking chances with his son by leaving him under the care of the mom, Daphne Joy, in light of the recent developments in Diddy's case.
Daphne Joy was identified as the "sex worker" in a $30 million lawsuit against Diddy, which allegedly prompted 50 Cent into "seeking sole custody" of their baby.
The lawsuit claims Diddy paid her a monthly fee for sexual services. Between 2011 and 2012, Joy, 37, dated 50 Cent, 48, and they had a son named Sire, now 12, together.
50 Cent Seeks Sole Custody
After 50 Cent reacted to the said allegations, insiders now say he is keen to have his son under his care.
"Given the latest developments and news of Daphne Joy's involvement in the Diddy lawsuit, 50 is going for sole custody of his son," a source told Us Weekly on Thursday. Neither 50 Cent nor Joy's camps have spoken directly about this.
Amidst the legal upheaval on Wednesday, Joy posted a vague outdoor nature shot with the comment, "Thank you God for your love" to Instagram Stories.

50 Cent Reacts to Ex Reportedly Being One of Diddy's "Sex Workers"
In his own Instagram post, it was unclear to fans if 50 Cent was making light of the situation or being sarcastic.
"I didn't know you was a sex worker [side eye emoji] you little sex worker. LOL [laughing emoji] Yo this s**t is a movie," he wrote.
The message was followed by two images showing the rapper from "In Da Club" and "P.I.M.P." holding an umbrella in front of a Cadillac SUV and smoking a big cigar. The images also included a link to his merchandise site.
Upon hearing of the "military level force" assault on Diddy's mansions earlier this week, 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) was the first well-known musician to voice his opinion about the recent events.
"Now it's not Diddy do it, it's Diddy done they don't come like that unless they got a case," 50 Cent wrote on X earlier this week.
Combs has refuted all allegations of misconduct. Currently, he is dealing with several lawsuits alleging sexual assault, one of which is from former record producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones.
