There are considerations within the FBI to broaden their investigation into the sex trafficking activities Sean "Diddy" Combs.
This decision comes on the heels of allegations suggesting that Diddy allegedly involved his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez in carrying a firearm during a notorious nightclub shooting incident in 1999.
Jennifer Lopez In The Mix
According to sources in law enforcement who spoke to The New York Post, there is a possibility of reopening the investigation into the incident following the emergence of new details linked to producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones and his $30 million sexual assault case.
According to insights from a legal expert based in New York, Michael Discioarro, the ongoing situation involving Diddy is "under intense scrutiny."
He claimed that Surveillance in Miami is active, and federal authorities diligently speak to multiple witnesses to validate their findings. The full spectrum of past and present events is being thoroughly examined about the music mogul's case
The claims made in the lawsuit by Lil Rod suggested that Diddy had boldly boasted about carrying out the shooting and evading any consequences.
"[Diddy] shared that he was responsible for the shooting in the nightclub in New York" and that "[Diddy's] girlfriend at the time, Jennifer Lopez, aka, J.Lo carried the gun into the club for him and passed him the gun after he got into an altercation with another individual."
Lil Rod went to allege that the "I Need A Girl" singer frequently boasted about offering bribes to witnesses and jurors during the legal proceedings related to the 1999 NYC nightclub shooting involving Shyne.

What Happened In 1999?
In the aftermath of a 1999 shooting incident in a Times Square nightclub, Diddy, JLo, Diddy's bodyguard known as Anthony "Wolf" Jones, and rapper Jamal "Shyne" Barrow found themselves in custody.
The unfortunate event resulted in three bystanders getting wounded, purportedly triggered by a dispute between Diddy and an individual named Matthew "Scar" Allen.
Following a tumultuous series of events, JLo found herself leaving custody uncharged after spending a grueling 14 hours behind bars. Similar luck was on the side of Diddy and Wolf, who managed to walk free. However, Shyne faced a different fate, being handed a 10-year prison sentence following a lengthy trial in early 2001.
Despite Shyne's conviction, speculations surrounding Diddy's alleged role in Shyne's sentencing have lingered.
Natania Reuben, a key witness in the shooting incident, has consistently claimed that it was Diddy who pulled the trigger.
"I literally watched them pull out the guns, I had a clear point of view. I mean, for God's sake, I got shot in my nose," she told NewsNation.
"I watched everything occur and have described it, vehemently to all parties involved. I have nine bullet fragments remaining in my face."
"I'm willing to have a doctor remove a part of the 9 mm bullet in my face so that they can use it as evidence if need be for this trial."
Glenn Beck, a skilled martial artist employed in club security during the incident and a witness in Shyne's trial in 2001, refuted allegations linking Diddy to the shooting and suggested that a firearm brought in by JLo was not involved.
"I remember how well she was dressed that night and she's very slim, she's not going to be hiding a gun in that outfit."
Following the 2022 shooting incident at the Chalice recording studio in Los Angeles, federal authorities are considering examining the involvement of Diddy and his son Justin Combs.
