Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter' Reviews
Critics have since praised Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter.
"Clever, sexy, angry, soulful, witty and fantastically bold, Beyoncé stirs up the western and puts the you know what into country. I think it's a masterpiece, but don't expect to hear it at the Grand Ole' Opry any time soon," The Daily Telegraph said in their rave review of the album.
The Independent gave their flowers and tipped their cowboy hats to Beyoncé for her thrilling escapade to the country music genre.
"It's a reminder that country music has always been about "three chords and the truth." Beyoncé's truth shines here with the fierce strength of the Texan sun. Cowboy hats off to her, they wrote.
