Tom Parker Death Anniversary: The Wanted Singer Remembered 2 Years After Tragic Passing

Former The Wanted member Tom Parker passed away two years ago after battling brain cancer. Although he had been gone from the music industry years before, his fans and family ensured his legacy would live on forever.

The late singer's wife, Kelsey Parker, took to Instagram to pay tribute to the singer on his second death anniversary.

In the post, she shared videos of them spending time with their children, celebrating momentous occasions and traveling together.

"Can't believe it's been two years. Feels like only yesterday that you left us, but I feel like I've been on my own for a long time now and so much has changed since you were here," she wrote.

Kelsey further noted that she knew her late husband would be proud of everything she and her family have achieved, as their children are already thriving.

"I wish more than anything you were here to tell me yourself. For you to wrap your arms around me and share in the excitement of every milestone reached," she added.

Tom Parker's Wife Feels 'Weaker' Than Before

Kelsey continued that the second year of losing someone is the hardest, and people around her constantly check on her to see if she can "survive anything."

She later admitted that this year feels "weaker" than ever. In addition, since their children are growing up, they have been asking her more questions, and she needs Tom's help answering them.

"Two whole years and it's getting harder not easier.I miss you more than ever," she added.

What Happened to Tom Parker?

Parker previously spoke with OK! to share details about his health issues, saying that he experienced unexplained seizures; then, after being tested, the doctors confirmed that it was a brain tumor.

Unfortunately, he also had stage 4 glioblastoma, and they told him that it was terminal. He mentioned that his The Wanted bandmates- Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran, Nathan Sykes, and Max George-were also gutted by the news, but they supported him. (via Self)

Unfortunately, two years after he was diagnosed with brain cancer, Tom passed away in 2022. He was 33 years old.

He reportedly passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and his bandmates.

"He was our brother, words can't express the loss and sadness we feel. Always and forever in our hearts," The Wanted said in a statement.
