Kanye West and Donda Academy are facing a new headache after an ex-employee exposed the rapper's alleged bizarre and concerning plans for students at his school.
On Tuesday (April 2), Trevor Phillips filed a lawsuit against West in Los Angeles. He detailed the "severe discrimination, harassment" he went through on top of other shocking information about Donda Academy.
What Does the New Lawsuit Against Kanye West Reveal?
According to the complaint, quoted by USA Today, West once told the Donda Academy's students he would put a jail at the school and lock them in cages.
The ex-employee also alleged the 46-year-old rapper's non-stop hateful, anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-Semitic remarks in front of the students.
"By filing this lawsuit, we hope our injured clients' rights are vindicated, and that the famous artist Mr. West understands that his messages - which we alleged preach discrimination, antisemitism and Hitler-love -- have no place in the world," said Carney R. Shegerian, Phillips' attorney.
Phillips said in the filing that West was his inspiration when West hired him at Yeezy in November 2022. Phillips went on to work for Donda Academy, which the "Jesus Is King" rapper founded in 2022.
"In front of the schoolchildren, Kanye continued his dangerous rhetoric. Kanye started to openly discuss how he only likes to date White women," the filing continued, per People. "Then addressing the two school children, Kanye told them that he wanted them to shave their heads and that he intended to put a jail at the school - and that they could be locked in cages. The staff quickly distracted the children, and escorted them out of the room."
West also allegedly screamed at and berated his Black employees in ways he did not treat his white employees. He also reportedly fired "fat" people.
Phillips last worked for West in August 2023. He is seeking damages in excess of $35,000 for psychological and emotional distress.

He uploaded a copy of the lawsuit on his Instagram Stories, alleging YesJulz "publicly disclosed corporate sales figures, social media strategies, text messages with Ye and management, released plans for Vultures album and product designs before release."
