Jelly Roll Sweeps 2024 CMT Music Awards For 2 Consecutive Years

Jelly Roll swept all of his three nominations at the 2024 CMT Music Awards.

Winning CMT Performance of the Year, Male Video of the Year, and Video of the Year, Jelly Roll took home all three awards in all the nominated categories.

He was one of the night's most nominated artists, along with Kelsea Ballerini, Megan Morroney, and Cody Johnson.

Jelly Roll's "Need A Favor" triumphed over Bailey Zimmerman's "Religiously," Cody Johnson's "The Painter," Hardy's "Truck Bed," Jordan Davis' "Next Thing You Know," Luke Combs' "Fast Car," and Morgan Wallen's "Last Night" on the Male Video of the Year category.

He also received the CMT Music Award for the CMT Performance of the Year with his 2023 "Need a Favor" performance at the 2023 CMT Music Awards. He beat out Amber Riley, Bret Michael, Chris Janson, Carrie Underwood, Cody Johnson, Dierks Bentley, Dustin Lynch, McKenzie Porter, Hozier, Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, and The War and Treaty.

Lastly, Jelly Roll won the Video of the Year Award for "Need A Favor" - outwinning 15 other nominees from the trimmed category, including Kelsea Ballerini's "If You Go Down (I'm Goin' Down Too)," and Cody Johnson's "The Painter."

Meanwhile, Lainey Wilson's "Watermelon Moonshine" won the Female Video of the Year category, Dan + Shay won for Duo/Group Video of the Year "Save Me the Trouble," Carly Pearce and Chris Stapleton won with "We Don't Fight Anymore" for Collaborative Video of the Year and Scott McReary's "It Matters to Her" won the CMT Digital-First Performance of the Year award.

Warren Zeiders received his first CMT Music Award for Male Breakthrough Video of the Year for "Pretty Little Poison," while Ashley Cooke's "Your Place" won Female Breakthrough Video of the Year.
