Diddy Faking 'Carefree' Attitude Towards Brand Survival Amid Mounting Legal Issues: ‘He’s a Master Marketer’

Sean "Diddy" Combs' marketing skills are unquestionable. They helped him leave a lasting legacy in the entertainment business. But are they enough to save his brand from the mounting troublesome allegations against him?

According to an expert, Combs is trying his best to use his marketing prowess to ensure the brand he built himself will not be destroyed.

Sean Combs Being Cheerful and Carefree is All Marketing

Homeland Security Investigations searched Combs' houses in Miami and Los Angeles just two weeks ago as part of a federal investigation into human trafficking.

Since then, many have spoken up to either add to the narrative that the mogul is doing many shady things or defend him against these accusations.

Many others have also been dragged into the allegations against Combs. His own son is now facing a lawsuit for rape, and Combs himself is sued as a defendant for allegedly "aiding" his son in committing the said crime.

And yet, while these personalities are speaking up, the music entrepreneur seems to have remained mum through it all -- in fact, doing all he can to portray a carefree attitude.

However, how Combs is allowing himself to be seen might be all just an act.

According to brand expert Eric Schiffer, "he's working hard to ensure his brand trust isn't fully eviscerated," as Fox News Digital reported.

"The promoter in him - he's a master marketer - understands the power of evidence that can work to convince audiences through what's implied. And what's implied when he's out riding his bike with a smile, or with Stevie J eating food, is that things are just fine."

Schiffer added, "That's the message he wants to get across after having SWAT teams at both of his properties in the last few weeks."

Diddy After the Raids

After the raids, and no matter how many reports have been created about him, Combs appears calm and relaxed. His social media is also all about being at peace.

Combs, 54, was seen riding about town with a black bicycle and matching black T-shirt and shorts. At one point, he extended his arms as if flying over a bridge.

The singer of "All About the Benjamins" took to his social media the previous week, marking his first appearance since HSI raided his properties.

On Easter Sunday, Combs posted pictures of his 1-year-old daughter on social media.

A few days later, he added another photo of the child jumping on a trampoline.

He then shared the extended version of the 1998 song "Victory" with the message "Bad Boy for life," which refers to his record company, and an emoji of a fist.

The song features him escaping from Los Angeles police for about seven minutes.
