Fans React to Lady Gaga's Foray Into Migraine Drug Endorsement: 'Lady Pharma'

Lady Gaga fans are dealing with headaches after the pop star launched another campaign with a migraine relief company.

The "Born This Way" singer took to social media to launch a new campaign for her partnership with Nurtec, a prescription medicine that is used to treat migraines among adults. In a new video posted to her Instagram, the GRAMMY-winner discussed why she wishes she had found the medication sooner.

"Hi everybody, it's LG. I just wanted to come on and talk to you a little bit about my partnership with Nurtec. I have had migraine for a long time and I really wish that I had found Nurtex ODT sooner and I didn't but I have now and I can share it with all of you."

Known for her passionate philanthropy work, the Joker: Folie à Deux star hopes that her campaign will influence others who deal with migraine to use the drug with her.

"So if you're suffering with migraine, I know that we might have lots of different careers and backgrounds but we share this thing in common and it feels good to tell you that it could be helpful to you. So, talk to your doctor and check it out and I hope you feel better soon," she concludes, before blowing a kiss to her followers.

The video received mixed reactions from fans, with many left baffled after they watched product endorsement while waiting for new music. Some fans branded the pop-powerhouse as "Lady Pharma" following the ad, which is her second time doing promotional work for the company.

Another fan posted that they "only care about the Chromatica Ball and the new music," with famed drag performer and Madonna collaborator Bob the Drag Queen commenting, "Girl I swear to god lmfaoo."

The brand deal is a rarity for Gaga, with her past partnerships being with Dom Pérignon and Valentino. Some Little Monsters attempted to remain positive, stating that they hoped Gaga is "funneling this sponsorship money into promoting the next era because you're about to give me a headache."

Some supporters did come to Lady Gaga's offense, commending her for choosing a partnership that could be helpful to others.

"You could be collaborating on something futile, but you always choose your partnerships well," the comment said. "That's health guys. Gaga always concerned about the health of her fans."

The "Rain On Me" songstress launched her first activation with Nurtec in June 2023. Following a mixed response from fans who are looking forward to more music, Gaga responded by sharing a rare peek inside her creative process.

"I wanted to share a more personal moment with you today, I know I haven't been doing a lot of that lately and some of you are really longing for me to share more of my artistic process," the post began, before announcing plans about the filmed version of her Chromatica Ball concert and her extensive process preparing to play Harley Quinn in the Joker sequel.

While the first trailer for Joker premieres tomorrow, there has been no word about a release date for the aforementioned Chromatica Ball film. Gaga has, however, been vocal about working on her upcoming pop music album, stating that she is working "as fast as she fan" on some of her "best music."

Other stars who have partnered with the brand include Khloe Kardashian, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore, and content creator Jontá Harris.
