Morgan Wallen's Heartbreak: Singer's Antic Leading to Arrest Caused by Ex-Girlfriend's Sudden Marriage? Report

A source suggested that Morgan Wallen's recent drunken antics might have stemmed from his emotional reaction to his ex-girlfriend, KT Smith's marriage.

The news of their wedding reportedly profoundly impacted him, causing his erratic actions.

In 2016, the country singer-songwriter began a relationship with Smith, leading to an engagement that same year. Their journey took a turn in 2019 when they decided to part ways after facing challenges.

According to a recent report from an insider who spoke with the Daily Mail, it appears that the events at the bar were a harsh wake-up call for Wallen, serving as a stark reminder of his heartbreak from losing the one he loved.

Wallen is said to still carry the torch for her despite his struggles with loyalty.

The insider revealed, "Morgan has never gotten over her even though he couldn't stay faithful to her. And now another man is going to be raising his son."

"Of course he knew they were engaged and eventually going to get married - but eloping just days after they got engaged?"

However, another account reported by Page Six specified that Wallen's outburst was unrelated to Smith's recent marriage update.

Last week, Smith surprised her online social media followers, including Wallen, by revealing her marriage to Luke Scornavacco only five days after their engagement.

This wasn't the first time the "Cowgirls" hitmaker faced backlash for his involvement with alcohol. He faced scrutiny after being recorded using a racial slur during what sources claimed was a three-day drinking spree in 2021.

Morgan Wallen Arrested

On Sunday, April 7, evening, bystanders observed Wallen hoisting a chair from a building, tossing it over himself, and then chuckling as it toppled onto the street. Consequently, he faced three charges of reckless endangerment and was subsequently let out of custody on Monday, April 8.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department granted Wallen release on bond following a late-night incident at Chiefs Bar.

Accused of three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, Wallen faces severe charges after officers claimed the chair came perilously close, landing just three feet away.

According to records found online by USA Today, Wallen is scheduled to appear in court next month for a hearing related to a settlement of the charge.
