Rapper Don Toliver has been arrested and released in California over suspicions of driving under the influence (DUI).
The rapper recently welcomed his child with singer Kali Uchis last March 2024.
Don Toliver Arrested
TMZ obtained information from the California Highway Patrol Group that Toliver was pulled over early Tuesday, Apr. 9, 2024, at the San Fernando Valley near South California for allegedly speeding.
Cops revealed that they initially had reason to believe that Toliver might have been under the influence as he drove behind the wheel. The authorities reportedly observed signs of impairment.
However, instead of cuffing the rapper, they only cited him and immediately released him on the film.
There was someone who was with him, but it wasn't mentioned who exactly he was with. Sources close to the outlet revealed that Toliver was released to the custody of his company, who was sober.
It was noted on the report that Don Toliver was cooperative throughout the entire incident.

Don Toliver, Kali Uchis Welcomes First Child
The arrest came weeks after the "No Idea" rapper welcomed his first child with singer Kali Uchis on Mar. 14, 2024.
"You are everything we could have hoped for & more. Thank you God for our beautiful healthy baby boy, & thank you all for the Good energy along the way," the joint statement between Uchis and Toliver said on Instagram. "May our home & your homes forever be blessed with peace, happiness & health," they captioned the video, which showed scenes from their son's birth and his early days with the new parents.
However, the baby boy's name has yet to be revealed.
Uchis, on the other hand, revealed the grand news in January 2024 when she and Toliver appeared together in the music video for "Tu Corazón Es Mio."
People reported that the music video was riddled with Uchis and Toliver's doctor appointments, signifying their new family's birth.
"Starting our family," Uchis said on Instagram with a mending heart emoji. "don't take too long to get here little pooks, mom & dad can't wait to share our life with you."
"We always talked about wanting to have a kid, so we were really happy," Uchis explained to The Los Angeles Times. "[But] I didn't want to share that journey with just anybody. There's so many people out there, even within my own family, that don't wish me well. I didn't want anybody to know until I felt that my pregnancy was viable. Ask any pregnant woman [why] they'd want to keep it private. It's such a vulnerable situation."
