Taylor Swift's potential Coachella 2024 performance resurfaced before the scheduled first day of the festival.
On Friday, April 12, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will launch the first day of its 2024 iteration before marking the second and third days on April 13, Saturday, and April 12, Sunday. The next weekend's shows will happen from April 19 to 21.
While the list of performers has already been confirmed, the buzz about Swift performing at the event reemerged.
Will Taylor Swift Perform at the Coachella 2024?
Us Weekly cited sources who claimed that Swift would be a surprise performer at the Coachella festival. Some assumed she would appear as she releases her album, The Tortured Poets Department, on April 19.
Previously, the same outlet exclusively reported Swift and Travis Kelce's desire to attend the festival and rent a house nearby.
"They both want to see Lana Del Rey and [Jack Antonoff's band] Bleachers," the insider said of the "Lover" singer's potential special performance.
On the other hand, another source said the Kansas City Chiefs tight end would film a commercial in Los Angeles on Friday, as well.
"They don't want a ton of eyes on them, they want to be able to let their guard down and be comfortable," another source said of the couple's reported plans to stay at The Madison Club, per Page Six. "He loves to golf in the desert. And The Madison Club is a great place to do just that."
Swift has yet to performed at the prestigious festival, and Swifties hope to finally see her at the 2024 event.
