Alleged Justin Bieber Song with Lyrics ‘Lost Myself at a Diddy Party’ Goes Viral on TikTok, YouTube: But Is the Song Real?

Clips of an alleged "Justin Bieber" song are currently available on YouTube and TikTok, which sounds exciting since the singer hasn't released any new music since 2022.

What's more, the new track begins with the line "Lost myself at a Diddy party," alluding to the controversial musician and producer Sean "Diddy" Combs, who is in the middle of an ongoing probe regarding alleged sex and drug trafficking, and a recently recirculated video of a young Bieber at a Diddy party.

Does This New "Justin Bieber" Song Expose Diddy?

But is the song real? While the voice in the clips on YouTube and TikTok does sound eerily similar to the "Stay" singer, things do not add up.

After the federal raids on Combs' mansions in March, several clips of Justin Bieber and Combs resurfaced online, prompting fans to spectulate that Bieber might have been one of Combs' alleged abuse victims.

Bieber has not acknowledged the allegations, which is partially why fans were confused by this recently released song.

Those who believe it could be legitimate think it makes sense that Bieber would disclose his real emotions or trauma through song, while those who believe it's fake see a clear lack or promotion and the timing (Bieber has taken time off to focus on himself and his mental health, so why would suddenly drop a song about such a sensitive topic?) as suspect.

Is Justin Bieber a Victim of AI?

According to Snopes, the song is likely AI-generated.

Bieber's camp has not yet denied the song is his, it's impossible to disregard the whole thing as fake.

The song's lyrics describe an incident at a party that Diddy threw and convey Bieber's disenchantment with wealth and celebrity. The following lines are found in the opening verse:

"Lost myself at a Diddy party, didn't know that's how it go, I was in it for a new Ferrari, but it cost me way more than my soul, wasn't worth all the fortune and fame."

Bieber was famously discovered at the age of 13 by talent manager Scooter Braun, and R&B singer Usher soon took him under his wing.

According to reports, Bieber and Diddy's interactions and collaborations started when the Canadian singer was just 15 years old. Diddy served as his mentor, and the two spent time in the recording studio together.

Most recently, Bieber appeared on The Love Album: Off the Grid, Diddy's 2023 studio album, where he contributed guest vocals for the song "Moments."

However, while Bieber is seemingly doing all to stay as far away as possible from the music and entertainment scene lately, Diddy's name could not be louder, but not in a positive way.

Diddy is presently involved in a number of legal disputes, and on March 25, 2024, federal investigators and other law enforcement personnel raided two of his houses as part of a sex-trafficking investigation.

Now, there are new reports every day from people who reportedly know something about the mogul that can ultimately destroy him, even though investigators have not revealed the status of their probe.

Unfortunately for Justin Bieber, this means he and other celebrities who are or were once close to Diddy are being dragged into the continuous newscycle as well.
