J. Cole seemed to have chickened out from the ongoing rap beef between him, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar after he removed his diss track against the latter, "7 Minute Drill," from streaming services.

The rapper's latest surprise album, "Might Delete Later," arrived at the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart, fueling the rap beef Lamar has ignited since he, Future, and Metro Boomin' released "Like That."

"I'm so proud of ['Might Delete Later'], except for one part," he revealed. "It's one part of that shit that makes me feel like, man that's the lamest shit I did in my fuckin' life, right? And I know this is not what a lot of people want to hear."

Fans who were waiting for J.Cole's response to Lamar's swipe on him and Drake were underwhelmed by his response.

The "Wet Dreams" rapper confessed that he was just pressured to release the song.

"I was conflicted because, one I know my heart and I know how I feel about my peers, these two n-s that I just been blessed to even stand beside in this game, let alone chase they greatness. So I felt conflicted 'cause I'm like, bruh I don't even feel no way. But the world wanna see blood. I don't know if y'all can feel that, but the world wanna see blood," he said in his speech.

J.Cole, who has since strayed away from rap drama, admitted that releasing "7 Minute Drill" was "spiritually bad" for him.

"That shit disrupts my fuckin' peace. So what I want to say right here tonight is in the midst of me doing that and in that shit, trying to find a little angle and downplay this n-a's fucking catalog and his greatness, I want to say right now tonight, how many people think Kendrick Lamar is one of the greatest motherfucker's to ever touch a fuckin' microphone? Dreamville, y'all love Kendrick Lamar, correct? As do I," he added.

Drake, Rick Ross Continues Rap Beef

Just as J. Cole tries to wash his hands, Drake seemingly responds to Lamar while also taking a swipe at other rappers when a diss track of him was leaked online. (via Rolling Stone)

"Pipsqueak, pipe down, you ain't in no big three/SZA got you wiped down/Travis got you wiped down, Savage got you wiped down," Drake rapped on the track. He also name-dropped Future, Metro, and even The Weeknd, and Rick Ross, two of which collaborated on the Future and Metro Boomin's We Don't Trust You.

Ross hit back by releasing "Champagne Moments," where he alleged that Drake got a nose job.
