Lil Tay, a social media celebrity, attacked JoJo Siwa for reportedly "liking" a tweet.

The social media star did not mince her words and asked JoJo Siwa to extend the same courtesy - by being upfront about what she thinks of her instead of liking some tweets.

Lil Tay Calls JoJo Siwa Scary

"@itsjojosiwa You're a scary ass bitch if you have something too (sic) say about me, say it & this time DON'T delete your comment or unlike shady tweets!" the 16-year-old, born Tay Tian, wrote on X Tuesday.

"Don't let those paid YouTube views and botted Spotify streams get to your head Madonna from dollar tree ass bitch."

The reaction is triggered by the alleged fact that Siwa liked a tweet saying there is no comparison between her and Lil Tay because she has a career and the other has none.

This certainly riled the social media star's feathers. Several fan accounts claimed Siwa, 20, "liked" a tweet that read, "There's no comparison between Jojo and #LilTay anyway. #JojoSiwa has a career. Lil Tay is just a meme, and a pathetic one at that." It's possible, though, that Lil Tay was misled.

Siwa has not commented on the controversy in public, and her representative has also not said anything.

JoJo Siwa Music Career 2024

Siwa has been going through a rough patch lately, primarily because of the release of her contentious music video "Karma" and the widespread criticism her edgy rebranding received online for being "cringe" and unauthentic.

According to Pedestrian.TV, Siwa also had the unfortunate experience of releasing a song concurrently with 16-year-old Lil Tay, which meant the two were bound to draw comparisons to each other.

Siwa has also been battling for her career ever since she was charged with minimizing the historical contributions made by LGBT musicians. In an interview earlier this month, the 20-year-old claimed to have created a "new genre of music" dubbed "gay pop," which did not work out for her.

Later, she changed her mind and declared that she wasn't claiming ownership of the song but was attempting to raise awareness of LGBT music. Nevertheless, she did imply that she is the genre's "CEO" or "Chief Marketing Officer," so netizens won't stop criticizing her.
