Fans have been looking out for Rihanna's highly anticipated comeback since she released the Academy Award-nominated song "Lift Me Up" for Black Panther 2 and her iconic Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2023.

However, Rihanna seemed to be focused more on her clothing company Fenty than her music as she recently partnered with Puma for a brand new line of footwear. Yet the "Take A Bow" singer gave an update on her upcoming album.

Rihanna New Album Update

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Rihanna told journalist Rachel Smith what song her two children enjoy the most.

Rihanna revealed that the song that would hush the two would be the nursery rhyme "Wheels On The Bus," sharing that the song would make the two forget about sharing toys and just focus on it.

Asked by Smith whether she plans to feature her children on her upcoming new album, Rihanna said, "It's up to them. I already got stuff that I feel like I could make hits out of. Me and Rocky are just trying to figure out who's gonna use what because they're so good."

Previously, Rihanna revealed that she already had the visuals for her new album, but the music was not there yet. When asked about it, Rihanna said that she "can't tell" because that would be her "snitching" on her record.

Smith also asked Rihanna when R9 would come out, but she said she "wouldn't know."

Rihanna Says Visuals for 'R9' Are Already Here, But No Music Yet

In a conversation with Interview magazine, Rihanna talked about her process in her upcoming record.

"I have a lot of visual ideas. It's weird. My brain is working backward right now," she said. "I usually have the music first, and the music leads me into all of these visual opportunities, and now I'm having all of these visuals, and I don't have the songs for them yet, but maybe that's the key, this time. Maybe the visual ideas are leading me to the songs that I need to make."
