Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre's 1993 hip-hop party classic "Gin and Juice" has been refreshed country-style thanks to Hardy.

The country-rocker recently took to Instagram to announce the collaboration along with a photo of the trio dressed in vintage gangster wear.

"I'm still in disbelief, but I am so stoked to announce that I recorded my version of this classic record for the short film Gin and Juice with the blessing of @drdre and @snoopdogg themselves. Thankful for the opportunity," Hardy wrote.

In a statement, Hardy announced the project's forthcoming "short film" is promotion for Snoop and Dre's Gin & Juice canned cocktail brand and he explained how he became involved.

"A while back, I got a phone call saying that Jimmy Iovine, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg would like for me to record my own version of 'Gin and Juice' for the launch of their new drink, Gin & Juice," he said.

Although the cover was just officially announced, fans of Hardy may have heard him perform the track, if they happened to catch him play at the Flipper's Roller Boogie Palace Big Game After Party at Encore Beach Club inside Wynn Las Vegas back in February, at a Super Bowl after party hosted by Snoop and Dre.

While Hardy's version maintains some of the original flavor of the Snoop original, he did tweak a few bars to better fit his vibe. His version begins with the line, "So much drama out in Tennessee," rather than in the "LBC" and he replaced Snoop's "Gs up, hoes down while you mother----ers bounce to this" with his "Gs up, hoes down while you rednecks bounce to this."

Snoop's version of "Gin and Juice" was a big hit, reaching No. 8 on Billboard's Hot 100 and scoring a Grammy nomination for Best Solo Rap Performance. It'll be interesting to see if Hardy's remake fares as well.
