Children often have imaginary friends or think they can converse with superheroes, and it can be hard to convince them otherwise. But what if they think they're real-life friends with a real-life superstar?

That's what one very patient mother was dealing with last week while trying to get her toddler to eat lunch. Bea Fabregas posted a video on TikTok of her 2-year-old, Tyler, repeatedly asking "Where's Beyoncé?" and "can I visit Beyoncé?"

As Fabregas calmly points out that they don't know Beyoncé personally and that the Cowboy Carter singer doesn't live in Manila, Philippines, where the content creator is based, little Tyler sweetly insists that "Beyoncé is my friend!"

Now, thanks to the power of global social media, Tyler can proudly show off his gifts from Queen Bey herself. After his mother's original TikTok went viral and was reshared all over X, formerly Twitter, word reached Beyoncé's camp, and she responded in kind. On April 24, just one week after her initial video, Fabregas posted a followup on Instagram:

"For the record @beyonce and Tyler are now actually, officially friends!" Fabregas posted alongside a slideshow of Tyler playing with his new unicorn toy and posing with an arrangement of blue roses.

"Through the power of Queen B’s internet (millions of views and likes it’s crazy!) she saw the video and sent over some of her favorite blue flowers, a new animal best friend for Tyler and the sweetest message that our family will now always treasure. In her note (which she started out with 'To my friend Tyler') she said, 'I see your halo, Tyler.'"

She said her "mama heart" was bursting, and that with all of the fan attention Beyoncé receives each day, "it still blows our mind to know time was set aside to send this sweet gift over."

Sending flowers is something Beyoncé is well known for. She frequently sends elaborate bouquets to collaborators and friends as congratulatory or thank you gifts -- so much so that The New York Times wrote a piece earlier this month about her fondness for floral arrangements. But as a mom of three, Beyoncé clearly knew that for a 2-year-old like Tyler, an oversized stuffie would cement their friendship more than just flowers alone.

"Thank you to everyone who shared it, commented, liked it," Fabregas concluded her update. "Tyler maybe too young to remember all this, but i’ll always remind him to dream big and shoot for the stars!! BEYONCE SENT MY BABY FLOWERS!!!!"
