In the wake of rumors suggesting that many of Taylor Swift's recent releases might be inspired by him, Matty Healy reportedly disclosed that he hasn't tuned in to any of Swift's latest songs.

However, insiders speculate that Healy might be contemplating retaliatory tracks aimed at Swift.

Despite widespread speculation, it's worth noting that neither Healy nor any of Swift's other ex-partners have publicly commented on or responded to her musical narratives.

While some reports suggest the possibility of non-disclosure agreements being in place, insiders emphasize that nothing legally prevents Healy from addressing Swift through his own music.

The 1975 New Album to Feature Taylor Swift Diss Tracks?

According to the insider who spoke with the Sun, he's free to do so because he did not sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Surprisingly, the centerpiece of 34-year-old Taylor's Heartbreak, published to overwhelmingly positive reviews last week, was the vocalist Matty, 35, from 1975.

Many thought that while he would be, the number of songs would not be that many, compared to those targetting Joe Alwyn, whom Swift had been for over six years.

After Taylor broke up with her long-term boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, last year, she only briefly dated Matty. Despite their brief romance, several of the songs on the album seem to be about him. Swifties proposed theories as to why this must be, with many saying Swift must have been love-bombed by Healy, only to be left hanging.

The songs "Fortnight" (ft. Post Malone) and "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived," in particular, seem to allude to the celebrity and Taylor's sadness upon the end of things.

Now, sources have claimed that Matty has much to consider regarding whether or not he wants to share his perspective on their stormy affair after listening to The Tortured Poets Department.

"Matty is currently keeping a low profile working on The 1975's next album," the source told The Sun.

"This time last week he had no idea he was about to become one of the most talked about men on the planet," the source added.

Nothing Stopping Matty Healy

The Sun also reported that at present, he's starting to change his mind about staying mum, especially since he is a musician and songs are his best weapons.

"He has opted to keep silent, but no NDA has been signed. Like Taylor, he uses his music as a form of release and storytelling, it's naturally caused him to think about their time together and he's never been one to hold back when speaking his mind," the source explained.

"Also like Taylor, he's moved on and is very happy with his current relationship with Gabbriette Bechtel but there is nothing stopping him from writing about his romance with Taylor and having his say on what she said about him," the source added.

The insider continued that fans should wait impatiently for the release of the band's upcoming record, even though Healy was quite gracious in saying the songs about him must be good when interviewed by Entertainment Tonight, although he has not listened to any of them yet.
