Justin Bieber appeared strikingly comfortable at his Tems' performance at Coachella in Indio, California, on April 14.
Dressed in baggy cargo pants, a loose sweatshirt engulfing his slender figure, and a baseball hat tilted low, Bieber looked very at home onstage.
Bieber's appearances have been infrequent ever since he halted his Justice tour due to a viral infection that led to temporary facial paralysis in June 2022.
According to a source who spoke to In Touch, "It's a good sign he felt comfortable enough to get on stage, and a lot of fans are hoping this means he'll be making his music comeback soon."
However, considering his unpredictable actions behind the scenes, there may still be some time before fans see Bieber back on stage.
Bieber Spiraling BTS?
Even though it has been a whole year since the "Sorry" singer regained movement in his facial muscles, insiders note that he is still at a delicate stage, which could be why he appeared aloof throughout the weekend.
"He finally got his health back, but now friends are worried that he's spiraling again."
"He has severe ups and downs," the source added.
Bieber has faced challenges with Lyme disease, depression, and managing anger. He has been open about his reliance on alcohol, marijuana, and "quite potent substances" daily when he is feeling most overwhelmed.
"I hit a little bit of an emotional breakdown because I thought marriage was going to fix all my problems, and it didn't," the "Never Say Never" singer said of his first year of marriage with wife, Hailey Baldwin Bieber.
Hailey and Faith
Per In Touch's source, his wife's unwavering support and his Christian faith eventually "saved his life."
"He wouldn't be here without her."
"Their relationship isn't in the best place right now, but she's always afraid of what would happen to him if she wasn't around. She can't leave him," the source added.
Despite facing challenges, Baldwin remains steadfast in her commitment to support him.
"Their marriage is Hailey's priority, as well as keeping him healthy. Coachella was a huge accomplishment for Justin," with a strong support system cheering him on as he navigates his vulnerabilities.
