Billie Eilish is aware of the benefits and drawbacks of being a celebrity but this does not mean she does not resent the negative side of her fame from time to time.
In her Rolling Stone cover story, which was released on Wednesday, April 24, the Grammy winner opens up on how her public persona and private life can occasionally collide.
The "everything i wanted" singer reflected how sometimes having security guards and a dog that is fiercely protective isn't enough to keep some persistent fans away.
Billie Eilish Says She Resents Her Life Sometimes
Eilish, 22, shared that her gray pit bull, Shark is her staunch protector. She said "just because he's anxious doesn't mean he couldn't rip your face off if you come into my house."
Shark is currently on anti-anxiety drugs like trazodone and Reconcile for dogs.
She then shared that the fact that she needs to be protected in her very own home is one of the reasons why she hates her life sometimes.
"It's not in the job description, for sure," Eilish told the outlet.

"I had really scary things happen in my personal life and my safety was compromised a couple of times, and that's a big part of my life. That is something I just have to live with. But I don't know, it really made me resentful of my life, when you can't even be in your own house."
On the same interview, Eilish shared many aspects of her life, even going into a great detail on how sex and masturbation keep her mentally stable.
Singer Now More Vocal After Winning a Grammy
The extensive conversation happened in February, just two days after she won song of the year for "What Was I Made For?" at the Grammy Awards.
The hitmaker shot the cover for her third album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, in the days that followed.
This interview shows Eilish starting to be more vocal about her self and her views.
It follows her statement that she does not like musicians releasing multiple vinyl variants.
Last month, comparing it to The Hunger Games franchise, Billie Eilish has criticized musicians for releasing many vinyl versions of the same album in an effort to increase sales and make "them more money."
She says, "We're all going to do it because [it's] the only way to play the game."
In an interview with Billboard, 22-year-old Eilish stated that she cannot imagine how "wasteful it is."
"I find it really frustrating as somebody who goes out of my way to be sustainable and do the best that I can and try to involve everybody in my team in being sustainable - and then it's some of the biggest artists in the world making 40 different vinyl packages that have a different unique thing just to get you to keep buying more."
After that statement, Swifties went after her thinking she was criticizing Taylor Swift, which Eilish subsequently denied.
