Taylor Swift expressed her shock after her new album received unmatched love and support from her fans.
Released on April 19, The Tortured Poets Department has continuously broken records in different charts. Swift released her latest album during the National Poetry Month, and she dropped it with The Anthology version.
On Sunday, April 28, the "So Long, London" songstress showed her gratitude for Swifties for their unwavering support for her and her album.

Swift shared a carousel of photos showing the Polaroid camera shots taken while she was making the album. Some snaps featured Post Malone and Florence Welch.
"My mind is blown. I'm completely floored by the love you've shown this album," the singer captioned the post. "2.6 million ARE YOU ACTUALLY SERIOUS?? Thank you for listening, streaming, and welcoming Tortured Poets into your life. Feeling completely overwhelmed."
She added, "I was already so fired up to return to the tour but you doing THIS?? May 9th can't come soon enough."
"Fortnight" was the first single she released off TTPD, which served as her collaboration with Post Malone.
"I've been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever," she wrote on Instagram. "I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on Fortnight."
Swift announced the arrival of her new album when she won at the Grammy Awards 2024.

Swift's TTPD is currently the biggest album of her career and the biggest album of the decade as of press time.
Reports said it has 2.61 million consumption units, surpassing the debut record her 1989 (Taylor's Version) set in 2023. Of the sum, 1.914 million were traditional album sales, 683,000 were SEA units and 13,000 were TEA units.
Billboard also hailed TTPD as Swift's 14th No. 1 album of her career.
Swift is set to resume her The Eras Tour, starting with a four-night show at La Défense Arena in Paris, France from May 9 to 12 with Paramore opening the show.
