More photos of Jaafar Jackson while portraying Michael Jackson have captured fans' eyes and their hearts.

Ahead of the release of the highly anticipated biopic, Michael, the King of Pop's real-life nephew has been making headlines for his portrayal of the "Smooth Criminal" singer in the sneak peeks from the set. Less than a year before the scheduled release of the flick, the singer-turned-actor shocked the public again with his latest snaps.

Jaafar Jackson Unleashes His Inner Michael Jackson Spirit

People shared the photoset taken on Saturday, May 4, during the filming of Michael in Los Angeles, Calif.

The 27-year-old was seen wearing a blue military-style jacket with red and gold details. He completed the look with aviator shades.

Jaafar reportedly wore an outfit similar to that worn by the "Thriller" hitmaker during a 1983 press conference.

While the Michael creators have yet to release the official trailers and teasers for the biopic, fans have constantly expressed their excitement to see Jaafar act Michael's famous performances and appearances.

One posted on X, "Jaafar is recreating the 5 seconds Michael took off his glasses that day just to casually serve face as we speak."

"Just because Jaafar doesn't look exactly like MJ to some, it does not mean his performance will suck. Keep that in mind please. You all will change your mind and be blown way. #MichaelMovie," a second defended.

"Jaafar Jackson looks phenomenal at the filming of the Michael Jackson biopic in downtown Los Angeles," a third added.

Jaafar Jackson Impresses "Michael" Creators

Michael director Antoine Fuqua previously told Variety they were excited to show Jaafar's performance to bring Michael to life.

"There was such a spiritual connection when I first met Jaafar, who has a natural ability to emulate Michael and such a great chemistry with the camera," he informed Variety, adding, "But most importantly, it's Jaafar who embodies Michael. It goes beyond the physical resemblance. It's Michael's spirit that comes through in a magical way. You have to experience it to believe it."

Michael is expected to be released in the U.S. on April 18, 2025.
