Morgan Wallen had a run-in with the law over the past few weeks after he threw a chair off an establishment's rooftop. However, things seem to be looking up as he finally revealed the highly-awaited opening date of his bar Morgan Wallen's This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen.
The country crooner took the stage of the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, TN, to share the good news, confirming to his thousands of fans that his new business will open on Memorial Day weekend.
"It's over off fourth avenue just beside the Ryman [Auditorium], and it's going to be opening Memorial Day weekend, so I hope I see y'all there," he told concertgoers, as seen in a video shared on the establishment's Instagram account.
Wallen's show at the Nissan Stadium was a massive success, as three of his shows at the famed venue were all sold out.
Morgan Wallen's This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen
First announced earlier this year, fans should expect the six-story bar to have three live music stages, an open-air rooftop, and good food.
The musician partnered with TC Restaurant Group, which has been involved with other musician business owners, such as Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, and Jason Aldean.
Regarding its menu, the singer himself became involved with curating foods in collaboration with chef Tomasz Wosiak, and it will feature some of his mother's recipes along with Southern favorites.
Fans will also be able to revisit Wallen's life through a series of pictures and memorabilia displayed on each floor of the bar.
"I sing about finding myself in 'This Bar,' and now it's coming to life. This venue will hold true to everything I love and is inspired by my fans and the way they have embraced me and my music," Wallen previously said in a statement, as reported by Billboard.
Morgan Wallen Legal Trouble
The recent announcement comes a few weeks after Morgan Wallen was arrested for throwing a chair off Eric Church's bar rooftop.
Coincidentally, the chair landed next to local police officers but didn't directly hit them. With that, the musician faces three felony charges of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. The country superstar was released on a $15,250 bond.
More recently, Fox News reported that Wallen didn't appear at his first court hearing about his case. His lawyer, Worrick Robinson, appeared by the judge on the singer's behalf.
"This is obviously a very complicated case... It's not going to resolve itself without subpoenas and witnesses," the lawyer said of the hearing.
Robinson then revealed that they "reset" the case for August 15 and that the singer would be available by that time to appear in court.
