Doja Cat is pre-gaming the Met Gala with a head-turning trip to McDonald's.
The "Say So" singer stepped out in Manhattan over the weekend, wearing nothing but see-through plastic. Doja Cat's chest and hips were both sealed tight in the wrapping, not leaving much to the imagination with her seemingly-DIY bandeau and mini-skirt.
The 28-year-old even used the material on her shoes, with her backless heels being held up by plastic wrapping as well. With no sign of a plastic purse or pockets, the singer carried her phone, lighter, and a cigarette in her hand. She walked the streets with her new bleached buzz cut while she locked hands with Vetements Creative Director Guram Gvasalia.
Doja Cat then dined at McDonald's, seemingly their two-story Times Square location. She and Gvasalia enjoyed their burgers, fries, and large soft drinks as they were seated at a table inside the establishment. They were seemingly very happy to enjoy a meal at the fast food chain, as opposed to Zero Bond, where Daily Mail reports she visited last week.
Gvasalia was a bit more dressed up as he accompanied the "Paint the Town Red" singer, wearing an oversized white t-shirt, black bomber jacket with an orange under-lining, and black pants. He complimented his slicked-back hair with some small black sunglasses.
The fashion director took to Instagram to share shots from their date, captioning the photos of them walking through the Big Apple and eating their McDonald's with a heart.
Doja Cat is not the only pop star who has been visitng the fast food chain recently. Bebe Rexha donned her own uniform as she visited a California McDonald's location after her Coachella set last month. The "I'm Good (Blue)" singer twerked on the restaurant's ice cream machine as the workers labeled her as an "elite employee."
Later on in the weekend, Doja Cat continued her avant-garde fashion looks by wearing nothing but a large white sheet and a thong as the couple shopped for rings. She was seen holding up the cloth that was wrapped around her as a jeweler helped them pick something out.

When the "Acknowledge Me" songstress moved her hand to try on a ring, she let go of one side of the sheet, which fell to expose her entire backside in the middle of the Cartier store on 5th Avenue. She quickly picked up the sheet and had her hand ready for Gvasalia to slide a ring onto her finger.
Fans flooded the comments section of the posts to give their own takes on the bold fashion statements.
"Plastic wrap.. now a bed sheet. What's next!," one wrote. Another called out the seemingly staged paparazzi shots by saying that "Kanye did this already."
Since she is already in New York City, the Grammy-winner is expected to attend the Met Gala on Monday. Doja Cat made waves last year when she showed up to the Karl Lagerfeld-themed event dressed as his cat, Choupette.

The musician is currently embracing her natural hair after fending off internet trolls who made fun of it, slamming those who said that it looked like "sheep and pubes and carpet and popcorn," she said on an Instagram live. The "Kiss Me More" singer has opened up in the past about how freeing it was when she shaved her head.
"When I shaved my head, it just gave me this sense of self that was different from any other time in my life. I almost feel like 10 to 15 years younger," she says. "I feel like I'm just pushing myself out there and just accepting myself for who I am, no matter who can see me. It's kind of like I ripped off my shell. I feel a lot happier."
