On the first night of Gunna's 'The Bittersweet Tour,' opening act Flo Milli abruptly left the stage mid-performance. The star abandoned her set after audience members began throwing items at her.

As she performed "Like That Bitch," attendees began throwing objects at her.

"Stop the show. Bitch, who you throwing sh-- at?" she asked the concertgoers after pausing the music. An audience member seemed to take responsibility as "Beef Flomix" began to play.

Flo Milli left the stage shortly after.

"When I f--ing catch you all...I swear to f-ing God," she said as she left the stage to the sound of air horns.

Some X users reported that Flo Milli was boo'd off stage, but no videos from the show indicate that this heckling occurred. Footage from her performance showed fans eagerly filming and singing along as she rapped hits like the viral "Never Lose Me." Flo later clarified that the concertgoer wasn't trying to attack her, but rather "wanted me to sign their stuff," she posted.

"They weren't throwing sh-- outta spite!" She conceded that the incident still scared her, writing "but im from mobile [Alabama] so i take everything as a threat lol." Gunna then took to X to defend his opening act, writing "No disrespect in any form @_FloMilli will be tolerated on tour. family ties" and attaching the fingers-crossed emoji. Flo quote tweeted the post, "my mf brudda" and used the same emoji.

Flo Milli took the item-throwing in stride, tweeting that "They cant keep a real bitch down tf" after the show.

Fans online lamented that this incident, whether fans were truly looking for her to autograph their belongings or not, isn't the first time a female artist faced heckling and inappropriate behavior from an audience.

"Those incels threw sh-- at Rico Nasty on Playboi Carti's tour. They did it to Ari Lennox on Rod Wave's tour. They did it to Flo Milli on Gunna's tour. The common denominator is young men being hateful towards women," wrote one user.

Rapper Rico Nasty opened for Playboi Carti in 2021, where she faced rampant abuse from concert attendees. She was met with loud "boo's" and chants of "Carti! Carti!" At one show, someone even threw a glass bottle at the "IPHONE" rapper. Ari Lennox also had a glass bottle thrown at her while opening for Rod Wave.

Quote tweeting a post from the Female Rap Room, one fan pointed to the attacks on Flo, Rico and Ari, writing "when are male rappers going to step in and stop this kind of harassment towards women rappers?"

Female artists are also victim to sexual harassment and assault. Rapper Stunna Girl was groped by a fan at a recent show.

The pattern of harassing and assaulting female artists has become a senseless, disturbing trend of the past few years.

A fan attacked pop star Ava Max, storming the stage and slapping the singer. Bebe Rexha was infamously injured when a concert goer threw his cell phone at her, resulting in the "I'm Good (Blue)" singer needing stitches. Kelsea Ballerini was hit in the eye by a bracelet at a show.

One X user summarized these assaults on female artists, writing "kinda makes me wanna cry y'all evil AF to women."
