Sean "Diddy" Combs caused a stir after posting a cryptic video amidst an ongoing federal investigation.

On Saturday, May 4, Combs made a return to Instagram with an update that piqued public interest. The video appeared to convey a message about resilience in challenging times, prompting speculation among his followers that he was pertaining to his present circumstances.

The clip captured a hallway while a narrator said, "Not hysterical. Not frantic. Not anxious. Not fretful." It soon showed Combs seemingly praying with other people before spreading his arms out.

But steady in the storm. Looks bad, looks tough, but remains steady in the storm," the narrator continued.

While some supported him amid the federal investigation, some criticized him over the update as it reportedly showed his narcissistic behavior.

One commented on the Instagram post, "Sometimes we create our own "storms" and then get mad when it rains."

"It's screaming NARCISSIST," a second said, while a third wrote, "No way you looking for sympathy."

His friends, including Nick Cannon, offered support instead amid the bashing.

Multiple women stepped forward, alleging that Combs had assaulted them, with accusers including his ex, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura.

In response to the allegations, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) conducted surprise raids on his residences on March 25 as part of an ongoing inquiry. HSI teams from Los Angeles and Miami, alongside local law enforcement, all assisted in the searches.

During the raids, authorities reportedly seized numerous videotapes from Combs' Los Angeles and Miami properties, although the contents and outcome of the investigation have not been disclosed publicly.

Meanwhile, Combs' former bodyguard, Gene Deal, made a startling assertion regarding potential high-profile figures captured in the footage. The Bad Boy Records founder reportedly developed a habit of recording everything that happened in his home.

As a federal investigation into sex trafficking continues, the mogul's legal team is working hard to defend him against accusations in civil proceedings.

His attorneys are petitioning specific allegations in a sexual assault case initiated by Joi Dickerson-Neal's (one of the several alleged victims) legal representatives to be dismissed. The case alleges that the rapper drugged and molested the 19-year-old in 1991, but Combs' llegal team is striving to discredit the lawsuit in its entirety.
