Legendary heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne has declared Tony Iommi as his favorite guitar player, despite previously naming Randy Rhoads as the best he has ever worked with.

In a teaser clip for The Madhouse Chronicles, a new podcast from the singer and his co-host Billy Morrison, the musician revealed that his Black Sabbath band mate is his favorite guitar player.

"I've played 'Paranoid,' I've played 'Children of the Grave' and 'War Pigs.' [Other guitarists] do the notes but it's not the same. I find a lot of the American guys play too fast. Tony Iommi, for whatever reason, he's f---in' great," he declared.

In 2019, Osbourne said Randy Rhoads the best guitar player he worked with throughout his solo career because of his ability to write, read, and play music.

"He taught at his mother's school and had patience with me... And he would work with me, as opposed to me having to work on top of what he put down. It was fun!" he said at the time. (via Loudwire)

The teaser is for Morrison and Osbourne's new podcast, and fans should expect the two to tackle different aspects of music, Black Sabbath's history, and a wide array of topics, including aliens.

In an interview, the pair revealed they wanted to tackle extraterrestrials because of their curiosity, as there were so many UFO sightings. Morrison also noted that aliens are something that he and his good pal have been talking about for a long time.

"I'm really interested to find out. I mean it's gotten really interesting now since I've sighted those aircraft carriers. I've seen them things," he said.

The first episode of the Madhouse Chronicles is now available to stream.

In other Ozzy updates, the singer is set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the second time later this year. He first received the honor with Black Sabbath in 2006.

Other inductees include Mary J. Blige, Cher, Foreigner, Kool & the Gang, Tribe Called Quest, and many more.

Even though many consider him a legend in the industry, the musician opened up about wanting to snag more awards, specifically an Oscar. Taking to his Ozzy Speaks SiriusXM show, the singer said he would like an Academy Award in the future.
