Justin Bieber seemed to have served double joy to his fans.
On Thursday, May 9, Justin and his wife, Hailey, shared posts on their respective Instagram page to announce their vow renewals. A video and several photos in the update confirmed the supermodel's pregnancy as she flaunted her growing baby bump while wearing her long, lacy white dress and a veil.
Fans also picked up on something extra during the announcement: it seems like the "Ghost" singer may have teased a snippet of a new song.
"I'm starting to be open to..." Justin was heard singing before the video ended.
Justin has collaborated with other musicians over the past months, including with SZA for the acoustic version of "Snooze" and with Don Toliver for "Private Landing" in 2023.
He also made a surprise return on February 1 when he dominated the stage of Tim Horton's NHL All-Star Player Draft at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario. His setlist at the time included his hit songs "Eenie Meenie," "Baby," "Ghost," "Hold On" and "Peaches."
Before the happy news, Justin and Hailey stood strong together through a challenging time when the "STAY" singer was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
"Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, where my face was partly paralyzed. As the result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North America leg of the Justice Tour," he said, adding, "After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me. I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now."
The health battle led to the cancelation of his tour.
Justin and Hailey are set to welcome their baby, marking the next chapter in their journey together. They originally tied the knot in a New York City courthouse in September 2018, just two months after getting engaged. Throughout the past few years, the couple has navigated various rumors, including speculation about pregnancy coupled with talks of divorce.
Speaking with GQ Hype, Hailey opened up about whether the rumors affected her.
"Recently, everybody was like, 'Oh my God, she's pregnant,' and that's happened to me multiple times before," she told the outlet. "There is something that's disheartening about, damn, I can't be bloated one time and not be pregnant? It would be a lie if I was like, 'Oh yeah, I don't give a s---.'"
