Shania Twain has been exploring various styles lately, and she recently unveiled a new hair color on social media. However, fans were quick to express their confusion in the comment section, mistaking her for someone else. Many expressed their frustration, thinking she's altering herself and no longer aging gracefully.

Taking to her official Instagram account, the "Man, I Feel Like a Woman" songstress shared a photo of herself from the Haute Living cover shoot, in which she wore pink hair.

"I love this outtake from the @hauteliving cover shoot because you can FEEL how much fun I was having... Expect me to be coloring my hair, doing what I dare in Vegas, sorry not sorry!!" she wrote in the caption.

Fans commented on the photo; many believed she was unrecognizable because of her new look.

"That picture does not even come close to looking like you," one commented.

"Who the heck? That looks NOTHING like you!" one added, while another wrote, "Been a fan for years, had no idea who this was."

"I love shania but she's unrecognisable in this pic, wudnt have knew her at all if I hadn't of heard the music," one added.

One user expressed concern about her ever-changing look through the years as one wrote, "Is that her?! I literally would have never known. Ten years ago she was aging BEAUTIFULLY. And still had her style. This new version is just not it and I wish she would listen to us! Age gracefully!"

As of this writing, Shania Twain has yet to respond to any comments she received about her new look.

The photo comes ahead of her third Las Vegas residency, Come On Over, which will be held at the Bakkt Theater. Fans are expected to expect the songstress to belt out some of her career's most iconic songs.

In an interview with Haute Living, the country star gave fans an insight into what to expect from her upcoming shows, saying her visuals will be fresh and she would focus on the fashion aspect of her concerts.

"It will be a different wardrobe than anyone has ever seen, but it's also an entirely different show from anything I've done before," she explained.

Giving more context behind her new pink hair, Shania Twain said that she experimented with a different color because her natural hair was turning grey, and she decided to dye it and "rock the pink."

She later clarified that she wasn't trying to look younger, but she feel refreshed with her new hairstyle.

The singer will launch her show in Las Vegas on May 10, 2024. More information about tickets are available on her official website.
