Kendrick Lamar and Drake's rap feud has reeled in many people throughout the release of their diss tracks against each other. However, when Lamar released "Euphoria," he namedropped a famous Toronto Chinese restaurant that has experienced a surge in popularity and sales since then.
"I be at New Ho King eatin' fried rice with a dip sauce and a blammy, crodie," Lamar rapped in the song.
New Ho King, an already popular Chinese food joint since 1976, gave back to Lamar when they introduced a new menu item called "Kendrick Special."
According to TikTok user insta.noodls, when he ordered the "Kendrick Special," the owner gave him exactly what Lamar rapped in the song: the New Ho King special fried rice and a bottle of their hot sauce than you can drizzle in the actual rice before taking a big bite.
The Guardian reported that both patrons or new customers doesn't need to read the new item on the menu, they just need to tell the servers that they want the "Kendrick Special."

In an interview with the publication, one of the servers revealed that they have been selling a lot of fried rice. As to how many they are selling, the server only said: "A lot. Most people come here to order it."
A 14-year-old Lamar fan spoke to the publication raving about the Pulitzer-winning rapper's lyricism and his difference from the Toronto native Drake.
"Kendrick is not one of those rappers who only talks about America or only talks about what he gains. He also talks about people, he talks about society. And to see him reference a Toronto restaurant - it's really great. I even love that he made fun of the Toronto accent," he explained. "Drake has done a lot within the city. But Kendrick is spreading Toronto out to different points. It's not only in Canada now. It's become bigger than that."
However, the fanfare behind the restaurant came more from Lamar's mention.
Unbeknownst to many, Drake also shot the music video for "Family Matters" in New Ho King. Still, Lamar's namedrop seemed to have pushed people to try on their food, including their many beef dishes and house fried rice special that features a mix of shrimp, pork, eggs, peas, and lettuce.
