It's been 14 years since Kesha unleashed her smash hit "TiK ToK," and she's now making a significant alteration to the song. The pop star has confirmed that the revised lyrics referencing Diddy, which she premiered at this year's Coachella, will become permanent.
The musician recently caught up with TMZ at the Los Angeles International Airport, where she was asked if the big change in her song would be permanent.
In April, the singer took the stage with Reneé Rapp for her Coachella set, during which she changed the lyrics "Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy" to "F*** P. Diddy."
The "Supernatural" hitmaker confirmed that fans should expect the lyrics to be changed forever, saying, "Yes, it will be [permanent]... The fans should learn it for my upcoming [shows]. I want to hear it louder than ever. I stand by that."
Kesha added that she's not the kind of person who shuts up and knows what she stands for, adding, "I know my integrity is rock-solid, so I speak the truth. The industry can kinda, like, suck my d***."

Kesha changing the lyrics of her song is very significant as she previously filed a sexual assault case against Dr. Luke.
A similar case has also been filed against Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, which several people alleged. His civil lawsuits include sexual assault, sex trafficking, and physical abuse (Kesha is not related to the latest issue about the rapper).
In other updates about Kesha, she released an album last year titled Gag Order, and even though it's only been a year, the singer is ready to enter a new era of music as she continues teasing fans on social media.
If the singer ever releases a new project, this will be her first album outside Kemosabe, RCA Records, and Vector Management labels.
The pop singer has yet to share more details about her next era of music, but she noted that there is a "marked day" on her calendar when she will be free to release new music.
In addition to her plans to release new songs, the singer will headline the WeHo Pride Friday Night on May 31, 2024, to kick off the pride festivities.
The singer will be joined by other performers like Adam Lambert, Niña Dioz, Venessa Michaels, Owenn, Jessica Betts, Morphine Love Dion, and many more.
