Taylor Swift has revamped her costumes for the European leg of her Eras tour to avoid unnecessary mishaps.
The 34-year-old hitmaker dazzled in a sparkly orange and purple ensemble during her performance in Paris on Friday night, showcasing several new looks.
However, one adjustment was made for practical reasons.
During the Surprise Song section on May 9, the Grammy winner wore a sleeveless pink V-neck dress with a high-low skirt. For Friday's show, she opted for an identical dress in blue.
While similar to the dresses worn earlier in the tour during surprise song performances, the new iterations featured one notable difference: they were sleeveless. Observant fans familiar with the performances quickly noted that Swift may have opted for the sleeveless design due to challenges she faced in correctly dressing herself during costume changes.

In the past, she used to sport a flowing gown with a shoulder strap and a ruffled cap sleeve.
Due to a gap in the material of her previous dresses, the "Fortnight" singer occasionally experienced minor wardrobe malfunctions, mistakenly putting her arm through the wrong opening in the garment.
The first incident occurred in May 2023 in Nashville while Swift was performing with her guitar.
"I put this on wrong," she confessed to the packed crowd at Nissan Stadium.
"Just pretend you didn't see that and it's fine," she added, attempting to correct the issue on stage with the emerald green version of the outfit.
"When you're changing clothes in the dark, you know, you're not going to get it right every time. That's the rule of changing clothes in the dark."
A similar mishap occurred again in June 2023 in Chicago. "I've done it again," she exclaimed. "Don't look at that. Don't look at that! It's perfect," she laughed, attributing the slip to the challenge of quick changes in low lighting.

In addition to debuting new looks for the concert, she also updated the setlist to include tracks from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.
Among these additions are "But Daddy I Love Him," "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived," "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me," "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," and "So High School," which many fans interpret as a tribute to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, 34.
