Camila Cabello and Lil Nas X no longer just share collaborations, but also a trauma bond.
The two's night out in West Hollywood took an unexpected turn with a visit from first responders.
The duo surprised fans on Friday at Heart nightclub in West Hollywood, where they were celebrating the launch of their single "He Knows" after encountering an unexpected setback: they got stuck in an elevator.
Lil Nas, 25, humorously shared the experience on Instagram with photos of the ordeal, jokingly referring to it as a "trauma bond."
One snapshot showed the Grammy winner playfully lying on a stretcher, while Cabello, 27, sat nearby. Additionally, he posted a mirror selfie outside the malfunctioning lift after he and the "C, XOXO" artist took some photos in their bathroom mirror.
Despite the unexpected incident, their ensembles remained flawless as they arrived at the LGBTQ establishment, which had been partly owned by Lance Bass until the previous month.
Cabello turned heads in a sleek black latex sleeveless minidress, drawing inspiration from Pamela Anderson's iconic look in 1996's "Barb Wire," complemented by flowing blonde locks.
The former Fifth Harmony member completed her outfit with coordinating leather knee-high boots adorned with spray-painted silhouettes of nude figures. She accessorized with slim black sunglasses, jeweled stud earrings, a matching chain bracelet, and a transparent PVC handbag.
Meanwhile, Lil Nas X donned a sheer blue skintight turtleneck featuring playful prints of cherubs, clouds, and peace signs, teasing a glimpse of his midriff.
The "Montero" artist paired the top with deconstructed jeans embellished with distressed detailing and zippers, cinched at the waist with a silver jeweled western-style belt.
His ensemble was finished off with furry white boots, a silver sword necklace, and matching jeweled stud earrings.
The dynamic duo released "He Knows" earlier that day, setting the stage for Cabello's highly anticipated fourth studio album, "C, XOXO," slated for release on June 28th.
On May 6, Cabello and Lil Nas X graced the green carpet of the Met Gala, offering a tantalizing preview of their latest song. Serving as a follow-up to her previous hit, "I Luv It," this new track marks the debut single from Cabello's eagerly awaited upcoming album.
The song's accompanying music video showcases the duo in their stunning Met Gala attire. With a playful yet alluring vibe, the single sees Cabello, 27, engaging in a flirtatious cat-and-mouse game with an enamored admirer. Set against an infectious clapping beat, she tantalizingly croons, "I think he knows / When I play with him like that / When I say it to him like that / Have my way with him like that / I think he knows (He knows)."
