Dolly Parton Announces Krispy Kreme Collaboration

Dolly Parton and Krispy Kreme have teamed up for an exciting new collaboration. Parton announced the "Dolly Parton Southern Sweets x Krispy Kreme Doughnut Collection" on X earlier today. She promised that the delicious treats will "make you sing."

Krispy Kreme described the collaboration with the country star with glee. "It doesn't get any sweeter than this once-in-a-lifetime collab!" wrote Krispy Kreme on their website.

A statement from the doughnut giant reads, "For the first time, Krispy Kreme and global superstar Dolly Parton are unveiling four new doughnut flavors that have a lil' something sweet for everyone."

The Krispy Kreme website features detailed descriptions of the four different donut types.

The "Dolly Dazzler Doughnut" is an "Original Glazed® Doughnut dipped in strawberry icing, with gold, pink and white glitter sprinkles and a signature chocolate Dolly butterfly piece."

The Peachy Keen Cobbler is an "unglazed doughnut filled with real peach filling, dipped in brown sugar icing and crunchy cobbler topping."

The Banana Puddin' Pie is also an unglazed doughnut, this time "filled with banana pudding made with wafers and banana pudding KREME, dipped in yellow icing, with white icing swirls and wafer cookie pieces."

The final donut, the Chocolate Crème Pie is another Original Glazed® doughnut and is "topped with a swirl of chocolate brownie cream and vanilla whipped topping, sprinkled with chocolate cookie crumble."

Kripsy Kreme described the various flavors as "Best enjoyed 9-5, 5-9, and every time in-between!" as a clever reference to Parton's iconic song, "9 to 5."

Guests can also buy the donuts in a collection of one dozen donuts. The company described the dozen as a pack of "southern sweetness" which include two of each type of Parton's donuts as well as four Original Glazed donuts.

The Dolly Parton Southern Sweets Doughnut Collection is also available for catering orders. For those who don't live near a Krispy Kreme, the collection will be "delivered fresh daily to select retailers" like Walmart, Kroger, Food Lion, Publix, Stater Brothers and more.

The packaging for the donut box is a nod to the south. The box looks like a yellow picnic blanket, complete with Parton's signature and a drawing of a butterfly.

Krispy Kreme is also surprising donut fans with an exciting opportunity: free donuts. On Saturday, May 18, all participating retail locations will offer guests the chance to "get All Dolly'd Up for a FREE Original Glazed® doughnut."

Anyone who visits a participating location "All Doll'd Up" will receive a coveted donut. Being Doll'd Up includes anything from being "decked out in Dolly merch to singing [one's] favorite Dolly song."

Krispy Kreme has not specified when Parton's new signature collection will leave stores, but told fans to get their "limited-edition Dolly Parton signature box today before they're gone!"
