Snoop Dogg is ready to coach his own team on The Voice season 26, along with Gwen Stefani, Reba McEntire, and Michael Bublé.

In an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Snoop Dogg shared his excitement about his new gig.

"If you know anything about me, you know I love music of all forms," the rap icon affirmed. "So this is a great opportunity for me to show that I really understand music and, you know, to be a real coach and to really give direction to some of these artists that could be today's next big thing."

Snoop Dogg also confirmed that people will learn he's not just a one-trick pony despite being in the hip-hop lane for so long.

"That's what people are going to learn about me is that that's why I feel like people attract to me because I'm not one-sided. I'm not just for you, I'm for everybody. I'm the people's champ," he declared.

Snoop Dogg is coaching alongside The Voice veterans like Gwen Stefani and Queen of Country Reba McEntire.

"Me and Gwen have been friends for a long time. She's a California girl, in a real way," he said of Stefani before revering McEntire's presence. "I mean, I'm Snoop Dogg, I respect the queen. That is the queen. All hail the mighty queen."

McEntire announced that Snoop Dogg and crooner Bublé will join them on The Voice Season 26 during an NBC presentation at New York's Radio City Music Hall on May 13, 2024.

"Folks, we've got a rookie taking the chair. I can't wait for him to join us - so I can beat him. Everyone please welcome the D-O-double-G, Snoop Dogg!" McEntire said.

"Since Reba is the queen of 'The Voice' who brings the sparkle, I can be the king who brings the style, the funk and the fun," he added upon being introduced.

Notably, Snoop Dogg is no stranger to The Voice; he became a mega mentor in Season 20, while Bublé was an advisor to Blake Shelton's team in Season 3.

Snoop Dogg and Bublé are replacing Chance the Rapper and Dan + Shay, while Stefani will return to switch seats with John Legend.
