Olivia Rodrigo expertly avoided a serious wardrobe malfunction during her London concert.
While she performed the song "Love Is Embarrassing" off her recent sophomore album Guts, the singer's top became undone.
Rodrigo turned to a dancer behind her, who tried to clasp the costume piece back together before the "Vampire" singer's entire chest was exposed. The Grammy-winner kept singing as her backup dancers continued the high-energy musical number.
The dancer fiddled with the top for a few moments, before turning back around to continue on with the choreography. This prompted Rodrigo to turn her back to the entire audience, exposing just how severe the malfunction could have been.
She then held onto her chest, holding the top up, while running to the back of the stage, with the dancer following her. Once the video is cut off, it is unclear if Rodrigo was running offstage to fix her costume, or if that was simply part of the routine.
Rodrigo giggled as she dealt with the slipup, before exclaiming to the audience that "this is f-ing embarrassing," playing along with the lyrics of the song.
Social media users watching the video from the sold-out concert shared their own reactions online, pointing out Rodrigo's commitment to continuing with the song and the dancer's stressful task of fixing the costume.
"I can't imagine the anxiety that the dancer felt trying to put it back on for her," one user wrote, with a crying emoji.
Other fans pointed out that the incident happening "during 'Love Is Embarrassing' is such comedic timing and very much iconic."
Another user compared the close call to Janet Jackson's infamous Super Bowl nip slip, saying that it is "not as big as this one was."
While Rodrigo went on with the show at the The O2 arena in London, other U.K. audiences were not so lucky this month.
Earlier in May, the "Driver's License" singer was forced to cancel her concerts at Manchester's Co-Op Live arena. The venue had been scheduled to officially open at the end of April. However, a series of technical difficulties have prevented it from opening its doors. The Guts Tour performance was forced to be canceled when rigging from the air conditioning units in the building fell to the ground during a soundcheck a few days before.
Following a successful first leg in the United States, Rodrigo has four more shows planned at London O2 Arena. She will then travel through Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Spain, France, South Korea, and Singapore.
