After sharing a series of explosive social media posts, Soulja Boy has retracted the choice words he had for producer Metro Boomin'.

On Mother's Day, the "Crank That" rapper went on a tirade, attacking Metro on X before digging his digital claws into 21 Savage. Now, Soulja Boy appears to be regretting his string of insults.

"I apologize to @MetroBoomin for over reacting over an old tweet. Condolences to his mom. I'm going to seek therapy and anger management. I'm done responding to hate, new or old," announced Soulja Boy. He attached the "100" emoji along with hands clasped in prayer.

He has also deleted all of his tweets from the extensive rant.

Soulja Boy's two-day attack stemmed from an over-decade old tweet from Metro. The producer appeared to mock Soulja, writing "My phone rings to come to the studio with Jeezy. Yours rings to send Soulja Boy a pack of beats. Sit down."

This singular tweet was enough to send Soulja Boy into a frenzy. He threatened Metro, telling him to delete the post within 24 hours, or he would "let the games begin."

Soulja then proceeded to attack Metro Boomin' on X, tweeting "Happy Mother's Day" at the producer. This message is a direct dig at the producer, whose mother was tragically murdered in 2022. He posted several cruel messages about Metro's deceased mother.

21 Savage responded to Soulja Boy's original Instagram post threatening Metro, with the "No Heart" rapper asking "Or what."

Soulja responded, "Or I'm slapping the sh-- out him and metro." He then asked 21 Savage why he chose to stand up for Metro Boomin' but remained silent while Drake, his frequent collaborator, received blow after blow from Kendrick Lamar and the internet.

21 Savage went on to defend Metro Boomin' again after Soulja Boy's insulting tweets targeting Metro's mother. He subtweeted Soulja, writing "you gone sh-- on yourself when I see you boy."

Metro Boomin' has since deleted the inciting tweet.

Fans were receptive to Soulja Boy's updated message, commending him for taking responsibility for his actions.

"Soulja boy the first rapper to learn from his mistakes," posted @LaFlameStreams to X. Another user wrote that Soulja was the "first rapper to seek therapy."

In other news, Soulja Boy recently offered to buy TikTok from its parent company, ByteDance. However, the company is worth hundreds of billions of dollars, which might put the social media giant out of Soulja's budget. The rapper's financial state is a bit of a mystery, with a judge claiming that Soulja Boy's net worth is in the negatives. However, Soulja countered this, posting a screenshot of a wire transfer of $1 million.
