Lainey Wilson won big Thursday (May 16) night at the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards, taking home the coveted Entertainer of the Year Award for the first time, though she won the same award at the rival Country Music Association Awards last fall.

She took the Entertainer of the Year honors over such notables as Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Cody Johson, Chris Stapleton, and Morgan Wallen.

Wilson also took home Female Artist of the Year for the second consecutive year as well as Music Event of the Year for the song "Save Me," her collaboration with Jelly Roll.

It was also a good night for Chris Stapleton. He won Album of the Year for Higher as an artist and producer, Male Artist of the Year and Artist-Songwriter of the Year.

Other notable winners include Luke Combs, who took Single of the Year honors for his cover of Tracy Champman's "Fast Car," and repeat winners Dan and Shay and Old Dominion. The former won Duo of the Year for the fourth time, while the latter took Group of the Year for the seventh consecutive year.

Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert and others performed at the star-studded event.

The 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards were held at The Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas on Thursday (May 16) and aired on Amazon Prime Video and Twitch Live's Amazon Music channel.
