If you could listen to only one album for the rest of your life, what would you choose?

Fresh off of winning the Academy of Country Music Award for Best Single of the Year with "Fast Car," his cover of Tracy Chapman's track, Luke Combs answered this very question.

In a recent appearance on the Taste of Country Nights On Demand podcast, Combs was asked what album he would take to a theoretical desert island.

He took a moment to ponder his answer, saying "Oh man, that's tough."

"Gosh, there's a lot. One album? You can only listen to one album forever?" he said in bewilderment. Combs himself has released four full-length albums.

He looked for a loophole, asking "Can you cheat and go, like, greatest hits album?"

Which artist did he ultimately decide upon? None other than Tom Petty ... and the Eagles as backup.

"Umm, I'd probably do, like, Tom Petty's greatest hits, Eagles greatest hits, maybe. There's just so much there. There's so much good stuff going on there, ya know?"

He reasoned that he would want to maximize the amount of good tunes, saying "I'd feel like I'd really want bang for my buck, and I'd really want greatest hits."

Combs can also boast that he's a part of his desert island pick's. Combs appears on the upcoming Petty tribute album, Petty Country: A Country Music Celebration of Tom Petty, performing "Runnin' Down a Dream."

Combs recently released "Ain't No Love In Oklahoma" from the soundtrack for the upcoming film, Twisters. While the movie won't be out until July, fans can listen to Combs' song today. There's no shortage of country icons attached to Twisters, other artists on the soundtrack include Jelly Roll, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, Kane Brown, Charley Crockett, Thomas Rhett, Shania Twain and more.

Of the "Ain't No Love In Oklahoma," Combs said that he thinks it captures "everything" that the movie, which follows a team of tornado-chasers, is about.

He continued, saying that the song is "High-energy, high-octane. I think the song really musically matches that vibe. It's really sort of abstract, lyrically speaking, I think that was done intentionally. We were really just trying to sonically match the vibe that they were looking for with this film."

Combs is currently on the road with his Growin' Up and Gettin' Old Tour, which has taken him across the United States and will continue until a pair of shows on August 9 and 10. Combs performs two nights at each venue on the tour.

Time will only tell when Combs himself has a greatest hits album, which plenty would choose as their "desert island" album.
