Surveillance video obtained and posted by CNN captures Sean "Diddy" Combs brutally assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura with kicks, shoves and then dragging her in a hotel hallway.

According to CNN, the incident occurred on March 5, 2016, at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Calif., which has since closed during the COVID pandemic. The pair were photographed together just two days later at the Los Angeles premiere of the film A Perfect Match.

In the video, which the outlet reports was compiled from multiple camera angles, Cassie is seen leaving a hotel room and walking towards the elevators. She's then chased down the hallway by Diddy, who is clad in nothing but a bath towel he's holding around his waist. Diddy then grabs Cassie by the neck and pushes her to the floor and then kicks her.

As the video progresses, Diddy is seen kicking Cassie a second time, as she lies on the ground. Then he drags her by the sweatshirt toward their hotel room.

After Cassie eventually gets back on her feet, Diddy comes back and shoves her. He then sits in a chair and grabs an object from a table and throws it at Cassie.

Cassie previously sued Diddy for assault, but the two reached an undisclosed settlement days later. She declined to comment on the video to CNN.

However, her attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, said in a statement sent to Music Times, "The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light."

Cassie detailed the alleged abuse from Diddy in her lawsuit, noting that an altercation occurred "around March 2016" when Diddy was "extremely intoxicated and punched Ms. Ventura in the face, giving her a black eye."

The complaint went on to say that Cassie tried to leave the hotel room after Diddy fell asleep, but he woke up and "followed her into the hallway of the hotel while yelling at her."

"He grabbed at her, and then took glass vases in the hallway and threw them at her, causing glass to crash around them as she ran to the elevator to escape."

Although Cassie was able to leave the hotel and took a cab to her apartment, she decided to return fearing that "running away would cause Mr. Combs to be even angrier with her."

However, when she returned, hotel staff urged her to get back in the cab and return to the apartment after they saw the footage of the incident.

Another shocking allegation included in the lawsuit that was filed in November is the allegation that Diddy paid the hotel $50,000 for the security footage of the incident.

At the time the suit was filed, Diddy's attorney, Ben Brafman, said in a statement to CNN, "Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations."
