Ben Affleck's Expressions, Body Language While Out With Jennifer Lopez Speak Volumes: Tensions Mounting?

Despite ongoing speculation about their relationship, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck presented a united front during a recent public appearance.

An observer noted that the Batman v. Superman actor appeared somewhat exasperated during their weekend outing, adding an intriguing layer to their dynamic.

Witnesses spotted the couple exiting the Aero Theatre in Brentwood, Los Angeles, following a movie event with their kids. Cameras captured the couple flashing broad smiles at the paparazzi as they departed from the venue.

Affleck was also spotted proudly donning his wedding ring once more after being seen without it over the past weekend. Despite this change, body language expert Judi James detected a certain artificiality in the couple's gestures as they made a concerted effort to dispel any rumors of a divorce.

James told The Mirror, "The shot of [Affleck] smiling out the car window while [Lopez] adopts a similar smile beside and behind him is totally out of kilter in terms of any natural body language from the couple, both of whom have been tending to adopt more negative responses to the heavy press presence that has surrounded them since their marriage."

"[Affleck], in particular, has shown himself to be allergic to this type of paparazzi attention, so the wide smile does tend to look performed here. He is also seen behind the wheel using a gesture of exasperation, with one hand raised, fingers upward and a teeth-baring expression on his face rather than a smile, while Jen sits with an unsmiling expression."

Arriving at BOA Steakhouse in LA, Lopez and Affleck made quite the entrance as they walked in together. The "All I Have" singer appeared fully engaged in the conversation, attentively listening to her companion's words as they strolled side by side.

As they strolled together, the couple refrained from holding hands, opting for a more casual approach with Lopez keeping her hands tucked in her pockets.

The body language expert pointed out that their walk together seems to emphasize personal space rather than showing any signs of affectionate connection.

James expressed that as Affleck confidently strolled ahead, swinging his arms, Lopez walked beside him with her gaze fixed on his face.

Lopez could be seen clutching her bag with the hand between them, unintentionally creating a subtle barrier.

James also said how the "Get Right" singer's thumbs idly rested in her pockets, adding an air of awkwardness to her posture. But despite the lack of hand-holding and genuine smiles between Lopez and Affleck, the body language expert said there was a hint of denial in their appearance.
