Tom Hanks sought the help of his son, Chet Hanks, to stay updated on the latest Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud.

In an Instagram story that Chet uploaded to his account, Tom asks his son, who he calls Big Main, to explain the feud to him.

Chet, who seemed to have been updated and attuned to the explosive rap feud between the two rappers, painstakingly detailed how the fight erupted and gave his two cents.

"So Drake and this other dude J Cole been saying they along with Kendrick are the 'Big 3' in Rap. Then Kendrick put out a song saying, 'F--- the Big 3, it's just big ME' initiating the beef," Chet explained.

He referenced J. Cole and Drake's "First Person Shooter" and Future, Metro Boomin, and Lamar's "Like That" as precursors to the chaos that eventually unfolded. Chet then continued telling the story, referencing Drake's clapback through "Push Ups."

"And then Kendrick was like, 'you're a dead beat dad' and made fun of his Canadian accent," the actor-musician added, now referring to the release of "Euphoria," which sniped on the Canadian rapper's parenting choices, plastic surgery allegations, and even his pen game.

In Chet's recollection of events, he also noted that Drake released "Family Matters," which then aimed Lamar's alleged domestic abuse of his wife, Whitney Alford.

"So Drake came back and was like, 'oh yeah? i heard you beat your wife' but literally like 30 seconds later Kendrick put out a diss track overshadowing Drakes diss where he pretty much methodically dismantled Drakes entire psyche and called him a pedophile for flirting with young girls and revealing Drake had another kid he was hiding from the world, which turned out to be false," Chet wrote, explaining the subsequent release of "Meet the Grahams."

In Drake's final release, "The Heart Part 6," he revealed that his team fed Lamar the wrong information, which the latter used in "Meet the Grahams."

The enthusiastic Chet capped off the explanation when he revealed that Lamar dropped another "West Coast banger," which was "Not Like Us."

"he really went in on labeling Drake a pedophile that was pretty much the sonic equivalent of when you took me to your high school in Oakland and we walked in on the basketball game and everybody started going nuts," Chet described.

Despite Chet's elaborate description and commentary of the events that took place, the Academy Award-winning actor seemed surprised but still confused.

"Holy cow!" Tom responded. "These are fighting words. People taking sides?? Who's winning??"

Chet, who seemed floored by his father's response, said only this: "Did you not just read what I said?"
