Kelly Osbourne revealed the traumatic experience she had with an executive who commented on her weight.
The 39-year-old "Papa Don't Preach" singer shared the story during the Tuesday, May 21 episode of "The Osbournes Podcast" and told her family about the insult she received. According to Osbourne, she was told she was too fat as a kid and that she needed to lose weight to be successful.
"I just booked a movie with Lindsay Lohan, Freaky Friday. I was gonna play her best friend, and then it was right before mom got diagnosed with cancer, so I quit," she explained. "And he was just saying, 'You're not a movie star, but you could be one if you lost weight.'"
Osbourne did not name the executive, but the incident reportedly happened after she was cast in Disney's 2003 adaptation flick with Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.
It was not the first time the "One Word" singer broke her silence about receiving body-shaming comments.
In September 2023, she joined Scheana Shay's "Sheananigans" podcast, where she admitted to hiding for nine months during her pregnancy to prevent negative comments from coming.
Before her recent weight loss, Osbourne revealed to "Hollywood Raw with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn" that she underwent a gastric sleeve procedure as there was "no single right way" to shed pounds.
"The road to happiness is different for everybody. I think that instead of picking apart the journey, they should just be happy that you reached your destination," said Osbourne.

Despite being open, Osbourne was still not safe from rumors about her alleged use of Ozempic, a Type 2 diabetes drug that is being used by celebrities to lose weight.
"I don't know what Ozempic does to you, other than what I saw it do to my mom. I think that it is the miracle drug in the right hands," she told People as she denied using the drug. "For some reason, society is trying to paint it out to be a bad thing. And I don't understand why. If you need to lose some weight, who cares how you do it, as long as you're doing it in a healthy way."
Osbourne lost 85 pounds in 2020 and enjoyed her fitter physique again after giving birth to her son, Sidney, in 2022.
