Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have decided to leave Los Angeles to live in a much quiet area. More recently, the singer's wife revealed why they felt compelled to move far away.
The 42-year-old actress recently appeared on SiriusXM's Let's Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa for an interview. In it, she explained that whenever they are in major cities, most people recognize them, and it's hard to go anywhere with their two children.
"I don't really think they necessarily respect that, you know, if we're out and about with our kids," she said of fans and the paparazzi, adding that they "kind of get hammered" on the West Coast. That's why they don't live there anymore.
Even though Biel acknowledges that her husband's work requires facing the public, they wanted to create "normalcy" for their children.
Regarding whether their two sons, Phineas and Silas, would enter show business, the actress said it's up to them if they wanted to dabble in the limelight.
"I know this very social media world is where they exist and where they live and that will be a very big part of their life and their reality. I just don't want it to be on my account, so we try to engage in a way that feels authentic," she noted.
People magazine reported that the couple has been living in Montana. Initially, they listed their home in Hollywood Hills for $35 million as they spent less time in Los Angeles.
However, a source told the outlet that they removed the property from the market and haven't listed it since. Biel "misses L.A.," the insider added, but the couple didn't think Los Angeles "is great for their kids."
The recent news comes after the actress appeared on The View, revealing that her marriage with the singer is "a work in progress."
She noted that both of them are trying to find a balance and a time to connect, as Timberlake is currently busy on tour.
Fortunately, whenever the musician is in another city for his concerts, Biel utilizes Zoom and FaceTime, and she mentioned that both have been "really helpful."
In other updates about Timberlake, the musician's next tour stop will be at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, TX, on May 29, 2024. More details are available on his official website.
