As if tickets to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour were not already hard to get, flights to get to the concert are now skyrocketing.

While local European fans have been watching the blockbuster concert in Paris, Sweden, and more, many U.S. fans have also been traveling to see the show. Swift started the tour with a North American leg in 2023, but some Swifties can't be satiated.

With even more shows set throughout the continent this summer, the loyal fanbase is set to follow Swift into countries like Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and more. The sell-out run of concerts has already boosted the European economy by £1 Billion, but traveling international Swifties are giving airlines a much-needed post-Covid boost.

Ahead of her upcoming performances in Lisbon Portugal this weekend, CNN reports that United Airlines have seen flights to the city increase by 25% compared to last summer. The growing trend in air travel will continue over the next few months, especially with flights being thousands of dollars cheaper in Europe compared to the US.

The surge is not stopping this weekend. United Airlines is now telling Fox Business that they are seeing 20% more passengers for June 27 and June 28 flights to Dublin, where Swift will be performing at the Aviva Stadium.

Continuing their comparisons to 2023, the airline has also seen a 45% increase in flights to Milan on July 8 and July 9, with more Swifties flocking to the Italian city to see the "Cruel Summer" singer live.

Delta is also seeing a huge spike in traveling. The airline says that they will be "operating our largest-ever international summer schedule and are certainly seeing an increase in flying to Europe around her tour."

Although Swift is looked at as the hottest ticket this summer, several other musical acts will be taking over Europe with respective tours, leading to further airline use that will keep business booming.

"In addition to for Taylor's tour, many music fans will travel abroad to see artists like Jonas Brothers, Metallica, Coldplay and more perform across Europe," Delta said in a statement to FOX Business. "This continues the trend of people going to the ends of the earth to see their favorite stars perform."

United Airlines also added that they are "seeing increased demand on certain transatlantic routes, including Zurich, Milan, Munich, Amsterdam and Dublin, surrounding concert dates for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour."

Many have noticed that prices for the Eras Tour in Europe are significantly cheaper in Europe than in the US. As Swift embarks on the second year of what is projected to become to highest-grossing tour of all time, most resell tickets in Europe are hundreds of dollars cheaper than they were in North America, with some even coming down to $350.

Swift is enjoying the European leg of the tour herself, taking in the sights of Europe with her boyfriend, Chiefs player Travis Kelce. Following a recent report that they would not be getting married, the football tight end is still expected to attend several dates of the tour throughout the summer.
