Many musicians have many demands whenever they go on tour. From Rihanna's reported request of six candles of a specific scent to Madonna's 200-person entourage, going to concerts must require a lot of effort for staff. However, Jason Aldean only needs one thing whenever on tour, despite selling out stadiums for his shows.
The country crooner recently appeared in an episode of Taste of Country Nights on Demand, where he revealed the things on his backstage rider.
He explained that his request list had not been updated since he went on tour for the first time in 2005, but he didn't need much except for Crown Royal and cigarettes.
"I don't think I have updated that since my first tour, '05. It was pretty simple. I think back then it was Crown Royal and cigarettes, or something," he said.
However, things have changed in the past years as he stopped smoking, so he just needed the whisky.
Later in the interview, he changed his mind and noted that he's now drinking Wolf Moon, a brand of bourbon whiskey.
In other updates about the singer, Aldean discussed the possibility of retiring from the music industry, saying it would only take him one thing to finally end his career as a musician.
In a previous interview, he clarified that he wanted to accomplish more things, and being a singer is a job that's hard to retire from.
"I may not tour as much as I tour now, but I feel like I will probably always play in some capacity," he said.
He then explained that he would only retire when his fans no longer wanted to see him perform or if he couldn't play on stage as he used to.
The musician extended his ongoing Highway Desperado Tour and added more dates for 2024. His next show will be in Syracuse, NY, on July 11, 2024.
He will also visit cities such as Virginia Beach, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Evansville, Mt. Pleasant, East Troy, Gilford, Bristow, Bend, Nampa, Salt Lake City, and more.
His last show will be at his hometown of Macon, GA, at the Macon Amphitheater on October 5, 2024.
Aldean will be accompanied by his supporting acts Lauren Alaina, Hailey Whitters, Chase Matthew, Austin Snell, and Dee Jay Silver.
