Lady Gaga has revealed that she performed five of her Chromatica Ball concerts while positive for Covid.

While celebrating the premiere of her upcoming film capture of the 2022 stadium tour, the "Bad Romance" singer stated that she had tested positive in the middle of the tour, going on to perform while she was battling the illness.

During a Q&A session before the movie - premiering Saturday on HBO - the Grammy-winner said that she informed her team that she was sick, excusing them from work if they did not want to catch it.

"I shared it with everyone on my team. And I said, 'I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable at work, and you don't have to perform and you don't have to work that day.'"

While most artists would have canceled shows due to Covid-19, Gaga powered through. After the tour had been delayed for two years, she made the difficult decision to go on and perform, making the point that the thousands of fans who attended were also putting themselves at risk of catching Covid.

"I just didn't want to let all the fans down. The way that I saw it also is like the fans are all putting themselves in harm's way every day coming to the show."

The A Star Is Born actress went on to share that the Chromatica Ball is the tour she is "most proud of," looking back on it as a time of immense creativity for her. It was one of the first stadium tours to kick off after the pandemic, launching in the summer of 2022.

"This was such a special time. This tour went on during a time that people didn't think that you could. The stadiums were all packed, they were sold out and [people were] all dressed up, dancing and singing."

The Chromatica Ball film comes ahead of the "Stupid Love" singer's new musical era, after she recently teased that she is writing "some of her best music." At the premiere, Gaga teased that the new album will be "completely different" from what fans have seen in the past.

"We've written so many songs, we've been producing so many songs. It's nothing like anything I've made ever before. I love to break genres and I love to explore music," she spilled. "There's something really beautiful about knowing you will be loved no matter what you do."

The new genre she is exploring is still under wraps, but the "Rain On Me" creator did reveal that the new music will be dropping "soon."

Although the pop icon answered a lot of questions at the premiere, the Little Monsters' biggest query still remains unanswered: Will the new era include the long-awaited second part to her "Telephone" collaboration with Beyonce? Gaga stayed tight-lipped, but shared that "whenever Beyoncé calls, I'd like to pick up the phone."
