Fans are looking forward to seeing Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band perform at their shows in Europe, but in a shocking turn of events, the group announced the cancelation of some of their concerts.
Taking to his official Instagram account, the musician shared an official statement after he postponed his shows at the Orange Vélodrome in Marseille, France. He said that he would also cancel his upcoming shows per doctors' orders due to his vocal issues.
"Further examination and consulting has led doctors to determine that Bruce should not perform for the next ten days," the statement reads.
With that, he had no choice but to cancel his upcoming shows at the Airport Letnany in Prague on May 28 and at the San Siro Stadium in Milan on June 1 and 3.
"New dates for these shows will be announced shortly. Those wishing a refund will be able to obtain it at their original point of purchase," the post adds.
Regarding the musician's health condition, it was noted that Springsteen is "recuperating comfortably," and he and his bandmates look forward to continuing their European stadium tour.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will resume their ongoing tour at the Civitas Metropolitan in Madrid on June 12, 2024.
Even though three shows have been postponed, the group will still have many concerts over the next few months as they visit European cities such as Barcelona, Nijmegen, Wechter, Odense, and many more.
They're also set to return to North America for another leg of concerts starting at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh on August 15 and 18, 2024.
