Britney Spears Latest Instagram Posts Spark Concern: Singer Says She's Been Robbed, Sick for '2 Months'

Britney Spears recently took to Instagram to reveal a distressing incident: all her jewelry has been stolen, leaving her feeling vulnerable and apprehensive about acquiring new pieces. 

In a video shared on her Instagram, the former pop icon showcased her empty jewelry box, its drawers devoid of any contents. "It's all gone," Britney lamented as she surveyed the empty compartments.

"So you can see for real all my jewellery was stolen ... it's hard to buy new now because I'm scared it will go missing," wrote the singer, 42.

She added: "So I buy it cheap and fake, but it's hard because some of my pieces were originally made for me ... and my baby cross that I wore since I was 4 is gone ... it's so thin."

The sole remaining item in Britney's jewelry box is a religious necklace and brooch. The star affectionately referred to it as "Mother Mary."

Comments raged from wonder to worry. Some speculate the robber could be her own chef or household staff. Some even said it could be the man she's currently dating.

Weirdly however, after this revelation, she made another post where she was modelling a red mini dress before walking towards the camera and poking out her tongue, to highlight the fact that she wants jewellery to be placed there, considering the caption. 

She captioned the clip, "thinking of getting a tongue ring !!!."

This post follows her revelation that she's been sick for quite some time.

In her post on Sunday, she shared that she's "very sick" for the past two months. The pop icon took to Instagram to discuss her health struggles, explaining that she's been battling a persistent cold and has tried to fight it off with coffee and antibiotics. 

Britney's recent admissions of the robbery incident and being sick follow another wave of media attention earlier this month when she was photographed outside the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles clad only in underwear, with a blanket draped over her shoulders and clutching a pillow to her chest.

Appearing disheveled, the 42-year-old star had sustained a foot injury inside the hotel and departed barefoot, later requiring ambulance assistance. Britney has since disclosed feeling "gaslit" into leaving the hotel, a revelation that has left her feeling embarrassed by the entire episode.
